A Note to My Readers: On Timelines, Truth, and the Path Forward
A Personal Communication to My Readers:
From the Desk of Kimberley Banjoko
July 27, 2026
To those who have followed my journey, supported my two decades within the international press, and offered their steadfast loyalty through the complexities of recent months: I extend my sincere gratitude. I am aware of the profound confusion surrounding recent events, and it is my intention to speak with absolute clarity and truth directly to you. The extensive public interest regarding my and my fiancĂ©'s personal timelines and specific calendar dates requires a simple, dignified clarification. The administrative adjustments of the past season are a matter of standard real-world logistics: a premier venue became unexpectedly unavailable, and securing an alternative estate within a compressed timeframe proved impossible. Despite the persistent scrutiny, the unwarranted commentary from outside circles, and the clear cognitive dissonance of those who attempt to distort our narrative, their opinions do not alter our reality. The profound connection and unbreakable bond I share with Joachim remain entirely untouched by external noise or institutional standstills. We are navigating our future entirely on our own terms, and we fully intend to formalize our union at a later date toward the conclusion of this year, or potentially within the next. During this interim period of transition, my primary focus remains dedicated to my independent editorial work and my creative portfolio. Concurrently, I look forward to continuing my quiet support of my fiancĂ©’s professional and business endeavors on the international stage. To those who expressed deep concern for my peace and well-being: please rest assured. I am secure, independent, and entirely at peace with the path ahead. This platform will now return exclusively to my professional journalism. Thank you for your unwavering trust, your grace, and for respecting the sacred boundaries of the life we are building together.
Sincerely,
Kimberley
