Kimberley Banjoko to Embark on a 14-Day International Charity Initiative in Ecuador
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
NEW YORK, NY — December 29, 2025 — Lady Kimberley Banjoko, the French-American model, journalist, and writer, is proud to announce her new role as a patron for the Salt Lake City-based charity Youthlinc. Banjoko will officially join the 2026 humanitarian delegation to Guamote, Ecuador, embarking on a 14-day service mission from July 12 to July 25, 2026.
This international initiative, organized in partnership with the Nukari Foundation, focuses on sustainable development and the empowerment of indigenous women in the Chimborazo region. Following a year of leadership training and local service, Lady Kimberley will travel to the Andes to participate in "Minga"—a traditional Ecuadorian practice of community members working together to solve shared challenges.
"Joining the Youthlinc team is a natural extension of my commitment to global community and education," said Lady Kimberley Banjoko. "The Nukari Foundation’s mission to provide educational and empowerment training to indigenous women resonates deeply with my own values. I am honored to contribute to the construction of vital infrastructure and to learn from the incredible women of the Guamote area."
Lady Kimberley holds a B.A. in Writing and Rhetoric and is currently an M.A. in Journalism candidate at Syracuse University. Throughout her career, she has achieved significant success as a supermodel, actress, and television personality, having been represented by top agencies and starring in film productions such as Coquette.
The 2026 Ecuador Service Year includes:
- Infrastructure Development: Collaborative projects with Nukari volunteers to update community centers and kitchens.
- Cultural Exchange: Immersive engagement with indigenous communities to foster sustainable independence for young women.
- Environmental Awareness: Field visits to Cotopaxi and Chimborazo National Parks.
Banjoko, who also holds an A.S. in Business Management from Ensign College, intends to use her background in journalism, management, and finance to raise awareness and funding for the trip costs and broader humanitarian goals of the Nukari Foundation. She will serve under the leadership of Team Leader Mindy Pack and Assistant Team Leader Anna Morris.
