Rumors turned out to be true: The Belgian prince has started a relationship with the American model Kimberley Elle. Since some months ago people and media have been speculating about the possibility of both to be dating, however, we have not confirmed nothing so far, when they finally made it official. How they met? Who is Kimberley Elle? In this article we are going to tell you exclusive details.   

Model, actress and businesswoman  

Kimberley Elle (also known as Lady Kimberley Banjoko) is a highlighted supermodel, actress and television personality who was born in New York City on July 14, 1991. She has achieved many successes in her career that have made her recognized, but on the other hand an important fact is her humanitarian service, that shows the great heart she has. She is currently working in several projects and is been represented by a talent agency in Utah.

Her personality, life, and career certainly fit with the monarchy and with no doubt is the perfect partner for the prince, proof of this is that he likes her company and talking to her, showing that they have a beautiful connection  and are mutually attracted to each other.

It seems to be that the prince, ninth in the line of succession to the throne and younger son of Lorenz, Archduke of Austria-Este and Princess Astrid of Belgium is truly interested in her. 

Love at first sight

Many people wonder how this couple met. Let’s be clear: it is interesting to think about the great distance between the cities they live and the way they could have had the opportunity to relate… But what’s behind this story?

In 2009, when they both where 18 years old had the opportunity to meet each other, the place, New York: Kimberley natal city. Joachim since a child had been interested in the army especially in the navy. As a matter of fact, today is an officer in the Belgian navy with military ranks. His passion for the sea took him to America, to attend a naval military history art exhibit. In this place he met a beautiful girl and started to talk realizing she was lovely, interesting, supportive, and good understanding. As result, he fell in love with her quickly.

But it was not so easy for them, despite Joachim was deeply in love, Kimberley doubted: maybe she was not ready to be in a relationship. This show us that even a prince must try his best to get the heart of a girl. Nevertheless Joachim didn’t surrender and the distance was not a problem because he wanted an opportunity: they had chemistry and he wanted a future together… Could this young prince win her love?

A long wait

The road was not easy since the beginning: The prince got back to Belgium to continue studying while his beloved girl stayed in America. Despite keeping in touch, distance was a challenge but they managed to continue together. During this time they tried different things: Joachim attended Malvern College in England in 2010, and then made reality his passion: he finished his education in the navy, becoming an officer. Later he studied for a “Bachelor of International Economics, Management and Finance” in the Bocconi University, in Italy. 

Kimberley also tried new things: received vocal coaching from opera singer Diana Nikkolos from 2009 to 2010 and trained in Music Theater at a conservatory in SoHo, New York. At this moment her popularity started to grow getting the attention of several agencies in the country, signed with some of them and starred a short film. She graduated from ST. Gabriel’s school and the Baccalaureate School for Global Education, currently studying at Syracuse University.

The years passed and they grew… But Joachim was still in love with her, he stayed there and despite not being the teenagers of the past, they were still together and he wanted an opportunity. What could he do? He was emotionally attached to her.

The dream become reality

We need to recognize the great patience and perseverance that the Belgian prince has had to achieve his goal. They have been long years fighting to win her love, a period of time in which they learned new things and developed their skills, becoming public figures. But finally she decided to give him an opportunity.

Since some months ago they have been seen together, even more than normal. The media and people began to theorized a possible couple and draw conclusions: It was evident the love they showed and they way they look to each other. It seemed that the prince was hypnotized by her. But this spring they made it official: they are dating. 

What happened? Why after many years, she changed her mind? The answer is simple: new horizons, she wanted to try something new and noticed him as the best partner possible realizing of the connection between them. After many years, Joachim was more than friend, a confident, and a special person to trust… She decided to take the next step after years insisting because she was ready and realized he was the one indicated.

Certainly she was surprised by his persistence and determination to win her heart, finally getting the opportunity. Now this couple go to their pace creating a future together in a romantic way.   

Happy families

Families were really surprised and happy with this finally going on. It was clearly evident the possibility of them to being dating. Now that it is official they imagine a future of them getting married and having children. But they don’t want to put them under pressure, it is better for the couple by now to keep on their way and take their own decisions together. But certainly Kimberley’s parents are happy with all this, especially the parents of Joachim, who finally can see their younger son getting his dreamed love.  

A royal couple

Many people are not aware of the heritage of Lady Kimberley Banjoko. In fact, her ancestry is wide and rich: she is descendant of 3 European kings, related to 2 dynasties and also African and Caribbean tribes. Kings related to her are Edward IV, Henry VII, JAMES III, and the dynasties are the house of Plantagenet (the family who held the English Throne from 1154 to 1485) and the linage of the Mortimer-Percy, one of the most powerful families in the Middle Ages. 

Joachim, related to the house of Austria-Este with no doubt will make a good couple with her; both have royal blood and will continue the legacy of their ancestors together with more prestige and cultural enrichment.

The future 

Finally, with all this history told and details explained we need to make us a question: what will await the future for this couple? We cannot speculate, only the time will tell us how they handle a future together, the way they go forward and continue opening their hearts to each other.
