Our life is full of good and bad moments that, throughout all the time we have lived, have made us stronger and have helped us to learn new things and to continue our way. Sometimes, we show our success as if it were an easy achievement in which we climb positions until we reach our goal, but the truth is that our life is full of moments and stories that have led us to where we are now.

This is the case of Lady Kimberley Banjoko, a person who is currently on everyone's lips either because of her career as a model, her foundation or her romantic relationships. Today we will not talk about where she is now, but about all those details that are not known to us that have made her over the years the incredible person she is today. It is easy to see Kimberley and assume that she is famous for the things she has accomplished. Some are even jealous of her because she has achieved the dream of many of being a princess, but the worst thing is that other people believe that her life has been easy and she has had a smooth path, which is not true. So let's talk about Kimberley's life and her experiences.

A childhood of adventure

As is already known, Kimberley was born in 1991 in New York. She was a happy child, the daughter of 2 immigrants, from a wealthy family of French and British entrepreneurs and scholars. She had a quiet childhood with her sister Rose-Ericka and the rest of her family, with whom she used to share trips to places like France or the Caribbean; most of her childhood was spent traveling around the world with her family due to her mother’s job at the embassy. These adventures developed in the girl Kimberley an adventurous spirit, especially when she visited her grandmother who owned a farm in the Caribbean, in fact, in this place surprisingly she began to swim with only one year of age, perhaps this was an indication of her future. Were good times with her cousins ​​and relatives, the little girl had a happy childhood. 

“Don’t go”

It was a happy childhood, but her parents were full of responsibilities. Adekunle Banjoko and Yvette Laurent spent a lot of time busy as they had to work for the local government where they had different roles; this with the fact that they owned businesses in real estate and education; they spent a lot of time away from home. Kimberley loved her parents, it was a happy marriage but she felt somewhat sad that they weren't present most of the day. It was necessary to attend their responsibilities, but even so the little girl cried when they went to work, especially when they stayed out until very late. It was not easy for her, sometimes even on weekends or holidays her parents had to leave, so she was cared for by a nanny or a babysitter. Despite this, Kimberley continued on her way and was proud of her parents, because she knew the sacrifices they were making.

A good student

Kimberley received a good education, but what is really important is how she developed during these times. School is one of the most important stages in the lives of many, which can have a great impact on the future and develop the personality of the student. It has been said that she was a very good and skillful student, taking part in many activities during her student years. The problem with this is that we only see one side of this story, showing Kimberley as a successful person and not the things she lived through or the way she accomplished these things. It is very important to know her personality to understand why she was so prominent: she loved reading all kinds of books from a very young age, which was very useful to develop her academic skills and that is how she developed an interest in science, especially math. Her success was not just about getting good grades, she was also a very popular student; She was a very friendly person with a good sense of humor, always ready to help others.

During this time she was part of many extracurricular activities, especially sports and music, something in which she always had the support of her family and friends who supported her in all her presentations. Kimberley loved to receive attention, we cannot deny that she liked to feel adored, but it is important to say that this popularity was won by her way of being: she was a good friend and never took advantage of others. Her personality and charisma served for other purposes, she was part of activities such as presentations, speeches and even she was the figure of a fundraising campaign for her school, something that years later would demonstrate again.

Helping others

One of the things that attracted the most attention this year, along with Kimberley's relationship with a public figure, was the launch of her own foundation, something that earned her the admiration of many, but also made others to think it just was a strategy to increase her popularity. The truth is that Kimberley even from a very young age showed to be interested in helping others, so it is necessary to explain the course of her life to understand the person she is today: She was not only the figure of the fundraising campaign of her school, but also, at all times, volunteered to help others: she knew it was not about popularity but about doing the right thing and making the world a better place.

Kimberley always volunteered, helped run the information both at her middle school’s D.A.R.E campaign (Drug Abuse Resistance Education) with the school counselor when she was in the 5th grade. Also she held lemonade stands over the summer with her neighbors who were also her best friends throughout her entire childhood. Other activities were door to door candy sales for her school fundraising competitions, and the participation in potlucks in her community. With all this we can realize the fact that she has always been interested in helping others and that her new foundation is a dream coming true with which she can make the world a better place by herself. We must understand her life and experiences to be aware of the person she is today.

Freedom and change

Kimberley Feel a connection with the number five. For many, saying this fact is not necessary or even weird, but considering all the things she has been doing and the way the has grew facing many experiences and learning of them, this number related to numerology is important: Freedom and change are 2 qualities  highlighted on her.

The 5 Life Path is one of resourcefulness, discovery, choice, change, freedom, and the physical aspects of life. Kimberley must learn, by trial and error, about her own physical presence and the effect Kimberley’s presence has on others. 5 emphasizes Kimberley’s physical body, Kimberley’s sexual intensity, and the way in which Kimberley’s body, mind, and emotions are able to adapt to change. Kimberley will learn, in various ways that physical matter changes constantly and that Kimberley can either prosper from these changes or be overwhelmed by them. Learning about the physical aspects of life is one of Kimberley’s main purposes in this lifetime.

Also highlights her ability to adapt to new things. This level of adaptability enables Kimberley to be all things to all people and to fit in, naturally, to almost any situation. Kimberley cannot be comfortable if her behavioral pattern is consistent. Kimberley’s ever-changing personality is who Kimberley is. This take-life-as-it-comes quality is what makes others feel relaxed around her and it should never be curbed by her own or society’s misconceptions about free expression

Something that is demonstrated is the kindness of Kimberley, since her youth she has been a good friend willing to help others, When Kimberley is a friend, she is a friend for life. She possesses a very special knack for saying or doing something that comes from her big heart, which can profoundly change another’s life. While it is true that nobody can own Kimberley, those Kimberley has touched with her special open expression will never want to lose Kimberley, or be able to forget Kimberley, because Kimberley exemplifies what everybody wants: freedom, sweet freedom.

Hard situations

Not everything is rosy in Kimberley's life. Although she has indeed gone through good times that have made her a better person and improved her skills, she has also experienced traumatic moments and experiences that caused problems on her ability to move forward. For example, one of the most critical situations that almost affected her life occurred in 2011 when suffered an accident while practicing skiing. She was at the Catskill Mountains in the Appalachians mountain range with her college roommates. She loves sports and is a skilled skier so was confident; however during this activity, Kimberley gained speed very quickly and then suddenly tripped and fell into a ditch after her skis flew off and she went unconscious. Immediately other skiers called for help and she was lifted out to the medical room until an ambulance showed up for her she was unable to walk and she needed crutched and a knee brace for the next three months she was badly injured. Despite the incident and the injuries, she was able to heal and continue her life without problems. These critical situations make us stronger, through this we put who we are to test, and despite the results, we managed to continue and be stronger. 

But traumatic experiences are not only related to accidents; her personal struggles have made her a strong woman, because despite being good and being admired, many people envy and criticize her especially now that she is in a relationship with a prince. Her family and friends don't understand how people can be so bad. People stalk, attack, lie, they are obsessed with her to the point that they endanger her safety. This causes confidence problems in Kimberley, but she has managed to confront the situation and is learning from it. In the end, these experiences are making her a stronger person, but the road is long and she must stand firm.

Positive results

The experience has made her a strong woman, it is true that sometimes she feels overwhelmed by the situation she is experiencing, but if you have read this far, you will have realized that at all moment she learns from her experiences: whether they are positive or negative, she is able to turn moments into a life lesson and to improve as a person. All the things that affect her today will one day only be a memory that made her stronger. Now Kimberley is the happiest she has ever been despite the problems. Her friends and family noticed she is happier with and adores her boyfriend. Kimberley is going with the flow in her new relationship and likes the pace of things with him while feels honored to see where things go with her mate and his family.

All the situations in her life have made her an empowered woman but also the things she has done and is doing: when she started attending college, building and running her businesses, modeling, acting, holding leadership positions in the work place, at school, and in her community, performing humanitarian work, giving back to society, paying it forward, receiving recognition for her scholarly work, publishing her work, and being independent. Each moment and each thing she does, have built the person she is today, this has been one step at a time and the road has not been easy, so critics must first know who she is before criticizing.
